The project involves changes and improvements to costanera norte road which lines the airport and separates it from the river plate. It includes the creation of a new coastal park filled with green spaces and recreational areas. The development will include various parks and recreational, sports and leisure areas and will span 1542 meters, starting at the Fisherman’s Club pier and finishing at the old Obras Sanitarias water treatment plant without changing the Cristopher Columbus monument which lies in between. As a further enhancement to the coastal park, a two level underground parking lot will be constructed which will be accessible from Costanera Avenue.
