Description
The Arenas 19 residential apartment complex consists of four separate buildings nestled into the Buenos Aires province’s exotic emerald coast. It was born of a desire to create living spaces in an environment with a maritime spirit. The development’s green sand dunes are highlighted by an impressive golf course. Apartments are distributed in terraced, four-story buildings that somewhat resemble elevated homes. All units have large private terraces with grills and ground floor apartments also possess elevated gardens that provide added privacy. The complex has a full service indoor-outdoor pool strategically located to offer residents great views of the golf course while they swim or sunbathe. Other features include basement residential parking lots, a guest parking lot near the entrance, laundry rooms and individual storage spaces. All of this was designed to give the apartments a summer house feel without sacrificing the comforts of sophisticated urban dwellings. Due to a lack of basic service infrastructure in the area and in order to avoid complications during the construction process, we decided to use simple technical solutions to create easily maintainable high quality spaces. The materials and equipment chosen for the project were selected for a combination of cost-efficiency, quality and comfort. These included: independent beam-less reinforced concrete slabs, cement plastered masonry walls with hermetic double-glass PVC windows, rectified porcelain floor and wall tiles and state-of- the-art elevators and electrical power generators.
